ABOUT THE EVENING

A NIGHT THAT CARRIES THE WORK FORWARD

For more than 50 years, the Tacoma Urban League has stood with our community in the work of advancing equity and opportunity. Legacy & Light is how we honor that story — and how we fund the next chapter.

This December, we invite you to gather with neighbors, partners, and leaders for an evening of dinner, entertainment, and recognition. Together, we will reflect on what has historically been the fabric of the League and look forward to a new vision: a re-rooting of our five community priorities — Education and Youth Development, Jobs and Economic Empowerment, Health and Quality of Life, Housing and Community Development, and Justice and Civic Engagement — and a renewed commitment to movement building in Tacoma and the South Puget Sound.

What should I wear?

Where is the gala?

The Environmental Services Building, Tacoma, Washington. Doors open at 5:00 PM.

Can I sponsor even if I can't attend?

Yes. Sponsorship supports our programs whether or not you're able to be in the room. Email us and we'll help you find the right level.

When is the sponsorship deadline?

Friday, November 6, 2026, to be included in printed event materials. Later commitments are welcome.

Is the venue accessible?

The Environmental Services Building is an accessible venue. Contact us with specific needs and we'll make arrangements.
